Are you looking for an answer to how to discover your purpose in life?, trust me a year ago even I didn't know the answer to 'my purpose in life' I was confuse looking for an answer to 'how do I find my purpose in life'. Therefore, here I tried to curate some steps based on my experience which will help to answer the question 'how to find your purpose and passion in life'.

In order to make this topic little more relatable I would give you the example of my life. Because I was among those who use to wonder seeing others being sincere and dedicated about there work. But though I was working for my dream company. But, I was not happy and satisfied.

I remember one year ago today in England, I made myself some promises about my life goals. It was New Year's eve which has made it more memorable for me to remember it.Need not to say that this blog is written exactly after a year and is my second step towards my promises made to myself and my first step was my youtube career. It seems that as of now this is my life goal and I have already started losing my sleep over it. Thus, at present my two important life updates are that, either I don't sleep or I woke up with full of energy and spark. I don't know where my hard work will take me, but as of now, this energy makes me feel that there is something right I am doing, which I think is an indication of me being on right track.

"After 6 years of my life studying and working in the business of fashion. It is finally time for me to write a blog on two biggest most important learnings of my life. Firstly, my life in Germany as a brown girl, secondly, to keep my passion for fashion spark ignited forever."-

Here I am summarising to you the steps I have experienced which will help you as well if followed to realize your purpose. No matter what age or time is it, there is no right time. Thus, without wasting time think that today is the best day to begin something new and improve your life.

Step 1: Love yourself: Take out time once or twice every week if not daily.

Step 2: Explore Yourself: Know your dislikes & likes, strength & weakness and love & hatred.

Step 3: Identify your strength: Plot a strength and weakness board by mind mapping or brainstorming. Reflecting both personal and professional skills, for example, sports-related skill and team player abilities. It can be anything.

Step 4: Identify God's purpose: Try to figure out the overall theme from this board. Your strengths will act as guidance to your future career or goals and the weakness will let you be aware of the barriers.

Barriers should be realised soon in order to make them your strength in future. For example, being an Indian in Europe can make me more skeptical to racism but at the same time makes me unique and more stand out personality in the crowd. In short, we should be positive even towards our negative aspects.

Step 5: Build and develop your strengths further. This gives you leverage over other people in that chosen field. Later, be expert in it by working towards it for every single day. It is said that if you practice one to half-hour in your chosen field daily then it can actually make you nation expert on that subject.

Step 6: Set Goals and delicately work towards it: Finally, the strength that makes you expert in your career goals in order to improve and enhance it. For this set goals, make daily and weekly plans and small steps that can help you attain your small goals to achieve bigger annual goals. Which lead to our career goals. For example, To be an author you can first start with a small change in life, it can be as small as reading books every day, attending seminars and being part of community, networking and then starting a blog later to reach out to your future audience. Remember it will take its own time. Your hard work will help to make everything fall into place at right time.

Step 7: Remember persistence is the key: This is my learning when I came to Germany, to be persistent towards whatever we want. Every single day is an opportunity to work towards our goals. All this test of time prepares us for our future self because everything happens for the purpose.

While you are working towards finding your life's purpose, at times it can be little overwhelming. Experiencing anxiety is natural at this time, therefore, to overcome it you can either watch motivational videos, talk to a friend or can simply go on for a walk. Any physical activity helps a lot to cope up with anxiety as it releases happy hormones known as endorphins, which can reduce stress (read more: https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/03/national-walking-day-stress-relief-tips_n_2992972.html).

Also, reading helps, this book here I found was quite motivating, It is a story of a professor suffering from a disease which was a slow death. But instead of giving up he started sharing his experience with death and took this as a blessing to meet people before he dies.In short, have seen the 'OPPORTUNITY' in a bad circumstance.

Step 8: Career goals and life goals are different: Career goals can make us successful and rich but life goals make us happy an fulfilled. Therefore, while working on our career goals also, pursue things that make you happy. It can be sports, simple running and helping others. To identify this keep your eyes open and watch your actions.Note down and do it more often. For example, if traveling is what makes you happy then do it more and if traveling is already our career then maybe you can explore towards more, maybe later it will transform you into traveling while helping others. Meaning you will find your niche in your arena which has both life and career goals,

Hopefully, this article will help you as well to live your dreams, realize your true potential with which you are born and can make this world better place. by making difference in your life and others as well.
